EMES is the first use case for H2HEAT technology. This project is the first implementation of this technology in a laboratory demonstrator. It will be used to test the performance of the system and later to provide decentralised energy (electrical/thermal) as an integrated solution. The scale can range from single digits to hundreds of kilowatts.

Phase 1 (TRL2 – 4)

A laboratory demonstrator will be built based on H2HEAT technology and examined in terms of combustion parameters.

Phase 2 (TRL5 – 6)

The laboratory demonstrators will be further developed as a mobile solution and tested in a relevant field of application (CHP). The demonstrators will be further developed and subjected to long-term testing.

Phase 3 (TRL7 – 8)

Redesign of all components for economical production of a small series.
